In the early 1800’s, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, John (Marilyn’s husband) Sidebotham’s great-great-great grandfather opened the first Sidebotham Inn. The nation’s savings and loan institutions were created at a meeting held at the Inn on January 3, 1831. You are invited to check out the neat pictures of the first Sidebotham Inn which hang in the Dining Room.

This charming vintage farmhouse was purchased in 1999. John and Marilyn had the entire house taken down to the studs and completely rebuilt, with the idea of creating a Bed and Breakfast Inn. The Sidebotham Inn was opened in April, 2003.
